  Rotating shaftBasic description of configuration

Rotating shaftNormally, the shaft is supported by two bearings in both radial and axial direction, and the bearing on one side is called the fixed end bearing, which bears both radial and axial loads, and acts as a relative axial displacement between the fixed shaft and the bearing box. The other side is called the free end, bearing only the radial load, the axial direction can be relative movement.

Rotating shaftFixed-end bearings must be fixed at the same time as the shaft and the bearing box, the more suitable bearing is able to withstand the composite load radial bearings, for example, deep groove ball bearings, spherical roller bearings and dual-row or paired angular contact ball bearings or tapered roller bearings. Radial bearing combinations that withstand simple radial loads, such as cylindrical roller bearings with or without flanges, can also be used as fixed end bearings by combination with deep groove ball bearings or four-point contact ball bearings or two-way thrust bearings. At this time, the second bearing provides a two-way axial positioning, but must be installed with the bearing box to maintain a certain radial spacing. The free end bearing will not be squeezed in the bearing due to the thermal expansion of the shaft and the length change. The axial displacement can occur inside the bearing and can also occur in the bearing ring and the bearing seat.

Rotating shaft"Cross-fixing" means a bearing configuration in which each bearing has a one-way positioning of the shaft and is in the opposite direction. This combination is mainly used for short shafts. All radial bearings that can withstand at least one Direction axial load are applicable, including deep groove and angular contact ball bearings, tapered roller bearings, andNJType cylindrical roller bearings, when using angular contact ball bearings or tapered roller bearings, in certain cases, preload must be applied.
